Maintenance-free Building Products PVC-u Fascias, Soffits and Guttering
"Full Replacement" requires the timber fascia to be removed and a thicker, load bearing pvc-u fascia board to be fixed to the rafter ends. This is fixed with stainless steel nails with coloured heads to match the fascia being fitted. The pvc-u fascia has to be thicker to support the weight of the roof tiles This full replacement method is required if the existing timber fascia is very rotten.
Due to this method being more time consuming and a thicker material being used the cost is higher. We use an "Eaves Protection system" on all our projects, follow the link on the home page for more information.
